The investigation carried out by the municipal science committee on the reasons for the decrease in these waters has ended. According to what we have heard, it will be possible to increase both water levels with some installations and improvements. The pool will be rehabilitated, the sources will be closed, and water leakage will not be allowed.
Since this construction and repair will take about a month and a half, the waters of Vezir and Osmanağa will be flowed into Kızılçullu Stream during this period, and subscribers and water owners in İzmir will not be able to benefit. However, when the construction is completed, water will be plentiful and it will be possible to bring water to the waterless districts in the upper neighborhoods. This project will soon be negotiated by the permanent committee.
The construction of the drinking water installation to be brought to Buca was started by the contractor B. Ömer Lütfi. The water that is now flowing into Buca will be enclosed in an iron pipe, and a pool will be built.
The external network of Buca water was tendered to the contractor for 29174 liras. First of all, the external network will be completed, and then the internal network will be established. It is understood that the external network will be completed in one year. The public is pleased that the Buca water installation has been started.
