Izmir has a very cute town. What a sense of well-being and joy it is to see and visit this lovely town, which is twenty minutes away by train. It is worth seeing and visiting the gardens adorned with magnificent and rare pine and cypress trees.
Recently, there has been a serious conflict between Izmir Municipality and Buca Municipality. This conflict arose from the buses and automobiles operating between Buca and Izmir. I went to the government and firstly visited the town manager Rıfat Bey and then the active and young head of the municipality, Muzaffer Bey, and asked for information about this conflict.
The mayor said: “We collect tax (tax) from buses, automobiles and passenger cars that work within the borders of our municipality and whose owners live in Buca. Izmir Municipality has been reporting that they will be affiliated to Izmir Municipality by pressuring the transportation companions (ownership) of this document lately and that they will pay the fee there. However, in accordance with the municipal law and the law of municipal taxes and duties, each municipality is obliged to take a certain (specified) duty on transportation of the property (monthly). Therefore, how can this right, which is determined by the laws (because of this), not taken into account by the Izmir Municipality?
