The landslides seen between Kızılçullu and Kemer stations after heavy rains have been more this year. Since one of the existing double lines in this location is in danger, navigation ( round trip ) has been closed. The voyage continues on a single line only in the mountain part. The soil in the landslide area consists of mud. There is also very little calcareous soil. In order to prevent the water from causing landslides by softening the soil, State Railways engineers dug two large wells here and covered them with stones and took measures to prevent the water from accumulating in these wells, but this measure was not enough, now a small canal was opened under the railway and the water was provided to flow into the stream from here. However, it was not possible to prevent the landslide.

From time to time, the İzmir-Buca road (highway) was also exposed to danger from the landslide here, even deteriorated once, but it was repaired.
