HORSE RACES IN SPRING

The first of the spring horse races, which will continue for five weeks, was held yesterday.

The interest in racing, which did not allow the weather to be very favorable, gathered thousands of people in the Buca area. On this occasion, the first beautiful day of spring was celebrated with great pleasure and joy.

However, we have to admit that despite the ever-increasing interest of our people in the races, order in the field cannot be maintained and especially the corresponding ticket counters cause suffering. Finally, we have no right to make people rush to the Buca area to trample each other in front of the toll booths in order to have fun, to taste the pleasure of sports and to get excited by betting on the running horses. Buying a ticket is one issue, getting paid for the winning ticket is more difficult than the first. It is impossible not to be surprised that the simple work that is possible by increasing the number of toll booths and making quick-witted people in these places could not be put in order. After making this point clear, we can record the results of the races.
