- Horozlu Mansion is being reborn -
Although it is as historical as the others in Buca, Horozlu Mansion, as it is known by the public, is one of the less well-known mansions and is being rebuilt in accordance with its original form after being almost completely demolished due to lack of interest.
Along with the construction of the vocational and technical high school in Buca Dumlupınar District, the necessary permissions were obtained for the restoration of the mansion and the construction of the mansion started. It was learned that the mansion will be rebuilt in the same way, adhering to the historical development plan. There is no information yet about what the mansion will be used for after construction. The restoration of the mansion, which was almost completely destroyed as a result of indifference, was appreciated by the public. The mansion began to collapse in 2003, just 8 years after it was evacuated in 1995, and has been abandoned to its fate ever since.
There is less information about Horozlu Mansion compared to other mansions in Buca. Although there is no information about its construction date, it dates back to the Ottoman Period. It is known that the Renda and Micaleff families lived here in the past. After the mansion was sold in 1960, it was used as a private college from 1960 to 1979. Afterwards, it served as part of Buca Commerce High School. With its evacuation in 1995, the process of collapse of the original building began.
With this restoration, for the first time since the Gabriel Russo House, a destroyed mansion will be reconstructed in accordance with its original form. The Gabriel Russo House in Heykel was rebuilt in accordance with its original form in the 1990s and has been used as Ziraat Bank since then.

- The restoration of Asparuk House is almost complete -
Another encouraging development regarding the restoration of historical buildings in Buca came from the two-storey historical house where the Asparuk family lived for many years. The restoration of the house, which was severely damaged after the fire in 2021, has come to an end. The roof of the house, which collapsed after burning, was rebuilt from scratch. Windows and shutters were renewed. The restoration of the wooden bay window, window and door at the front is expected to be completed soon.
