- Kozağaç -
Other names: Kozağacı
Description: Buca has been a recreational area since ancient times. Before the Republic, Turks called Kozağacı, while the Greeks called it "Kozagaki", adapted to their own language. At that time, most of the lands in the region belonged to the Greeks. Although it preserved its promenade atmosphere until the 1980s, after the Republic, it lost its former appearance due to urbanization.
