Explanation: During the Ottoman Period and the first years of the republic, the water of Buca village was supplied from the spring here. The waters here were transferred to Buca through the aqueducts built by the Greek engineer Vasiliadis in the 1840s. Today, the aqueducts and the source of the water in the region have been largely destroyed.
