- Üçkuyular -
Other names: Triga Pigadia, Üçkuyular Square
Explanations: Üçkuyular (en: three wells) is a square located at the southeast exit of Buca and named after three water wells in the past. In the past, it was called Tria Pigadia or Üçkuyular by the Greeks, and this name was probably adopted by the Muslims who settled in the region later on. In the 1970s, this was the last stop of the Izmir-Buca buses. Over time, with the growth of Buca, it stayed in the middle of urbanization and transformed into a square.
